Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican American journalist. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN who is also an anchor of SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. She was hired by ESPN as a reporter in the year 2016. She is the child of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by the time she turned nine. It is this skill that helped her get her first position as an Univision production assistant in Miami. There, she worked with the producers of television shows that were national, like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. The CBS subsidiary of St. Petersburg hired her after this as an sports reporter. After 2009, the reporter relocated from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as in addition to Fox2 News. Reporters covered issues related to immigration and drug trafficking throughout Texas as well as Mexico. Her duties as an anchor on sports and weather was also frequently demanded. He died of kidney cancer in 2006. While on a vacation Antonietta spent the time at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sibling had recently gotten a new job. Antonietta was a senior in high school and knew exactly what career path she wanted. When she was deciding whether Mount Union is the right choice for her, Antonietta decided to go visit the campus. It was an amazing campus. The university also provided her with the major that she desired. She completed her schooling and was admitted to the university with a degree of media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was part of the class, established an ongoing friendship with her. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to have self-confidence and was deeply moved by his love of journalism.
